Faith in God #4

Many are trying to have faith in written words, but lack faith in the One who spoke the Words. As a result, they struggle to believe ‘what is written’.

Christians need to approach the Bible as more than printed words on a page, as we need to know the author. Studying the Bible simply as a textbook, without the input of the author, leads to intellectual knowledge of concepts, without personal understanding of the One the words point us to and can result in completely missing what God is saying.
